FAQ

If you have a question that is not listed below, please feel free to get in touch.

1. How does the site work?

2. What is the overall idea of the website?

3. How did you come up with the idea?

4. Why should I buy your bins?

5. Can I pay monthly by Direct Debit?

1. How does the site work?

©The Who’s-Who in recycling homepage is divided up into 5,000 wheelie bins (advertising blocks). Businesses, companies and related services in the Waste & Recycling sector purchase the blocks to act as a direct link to their homepage. We advertise in all the leading Waste & Recycling publications and have top priority on the best search engines. This in turn provides maximum advertising exposure for your business or company and an online directory for all the different services to interact and exchange trade, as well as this the general public use the site as a directory for their waste recycling service needs.

2. What is the overall idea of the website?

The overall idea is to provide an online directory for the waste industry, a place where not only waste related companies can exchange services, but also companies that are indirectly linked ie Shredder Hire or Transport facilities right through to companies supplying diesel. Another aspect to the site is the general public, who use the site for all their waste related needs whether its skip-hire or removing specialist waste, we have the answer.

3. How did you come up with the idea?

I came up with the idea after realising that there wasn’t any one site you could visit that had a wide variety of services to do with the waste industry, a site you can visit to find a service and at the same time advertise yours.
Also we will be advertising on Yellow Pages web site aiming at the general public, they will be able to use the site for waste related services as well.

4. Why should I buy your bins?

From a company’s point of view advertising your services is crucial to growth, but can drain your resources. e.g to advertise as an individual company in all the Waste & Recycling publications it would cost a small fortune, so by joining forces on one huge homepage you have created maximum exposure at a fraction of the cost! If you were to advertise in Materials Recycling Weekly, Recycling & Waste World, Letsrecycle.com and Yell.com along with all the top search engines, it would cost you in excess of £30,000.00 per year, so at only £200.00 per year can you afford to miss out?

6. I don’t have a website; can you build one for me?

Yes, if you would like a quotation for the design and build of your own website, give us a call on the telephone number provided or via email and we would be happy to help. Whether the site is big or small it doesn’t matter it’s the extra exposure your company will receive once you are online, that’s the end goal.
