This creates a one stop shop for all your waste & recycling needs, whether you are directly or indirectly linked to the industry.

Terms and Conditions

  • When you buy a bin (for the purpose of advertising) you will not own any part of the site, but you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for.

  • You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image and link you want on the homepage, which will remain there for one year. The only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need a change to your image or link, e.g Your site no longer exists, major structural changes to the site etc.

  • If your image and link are accepted and published on our site, you cannot get a refund.

  • The advertising link you buy will be live for one year, after that the space will become available for re-purchase, you will have first refusal.

  • No obscene / offensive / adult images / links will be accepted, and we decide what is appropriate for our site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your allocated block or blocks.

  • If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive / obscene / adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.

  • If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from our site, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the block or blocks will become publicly available again.

  • Images must be the exact size you have paid for (e.g 1 bin = 100 pixels which is 10 x 10).

  • Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.

  • Images must not be animated (imagine how messy the homepage would look).

  • Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://

  • You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.

  • Funds must be fully received and cleared before your link goes live on the homepage.

  • There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but we will try to keep these to a minimum.

  • Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (e.g into our WorldPay or Bank Account), we will aim to get your image or link online within 48hrs.


OK GREAT, so now you’re ready to order some of the cheapest advertising space, along with maximum exposure through the leading waste publications and on the web, at only £3.85 per week.


There are three easy ways to pay: WORLDPAY or DIRECT TRANSFER and CHEQUE (made payable to One World Recycling).


Once you have paid for your bins, please email
wheeliebins@whos-who-in-recycling.co.uk with the following:


1. Attach your image as a GIF or JPEG (must be correct size for the space purchased)

2. State where you want your graphic to be placed on the homepage (eg 20 blocks across, 50 blocks down). Make sure you are certain, because you can’t change it later.

3. State which website you would like your graphic linking to (must begin with http://)

4. State what TITLE / ALT text you want for your image, max 50 characters. TITLE / ALT text appears when visitors hover their cursor over the wheelie bins.

5. State where you saw our advert or link.
